On my recent solo trip, I stayed at a resort located near a beautiful lake. The rooms were spacious with nice big bathrooms, and the staff provided daily cleaning services without any disturbance. The breakfast was amazing with lovely food and great views. I particularly enjoyed the spa facilities which included a big internal swimming pool, jacuzzi, and a Turkish bath. The apartments were equipped with well-equipped kitchens and staff were very helpful. However, the resort lacked adequate staff and some advertised facilities were not available.

hard to get served at times, it appeared that more staff were required. Had what was meant to be a 90 minute massage. Actuall had a 35 min. massage & was then left for 15 mins & then the lady returned for another 5 mins face massage. The language barrier prevented me on finding out why I did not get a full 90 min. massage.

The accomodations were pretty good, big and spacious villas with lots of room divisions and equipments. Nautical activities were also appealing, as were the pool side and spa.

The fact that there is no wireless internet connection available is the biggest down point of my experience.

the resort exceeded my expectations during a recent wedding ceremony in mortagua. the location was amazing with great views and large accommodations. the staff was incredibly nice and helpful, and the hotel grounds were perfect for walking around. overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would love to go back.

Breakfast was okay, but lacked vegetables and the food quality wasn't the best.

the pool was great and it was really quiet, a nice place to relax. the apartments are big and nice also, i took the 1 bedroom apartment and it was really big.

i think the 5 star category might mislead some people, this is not a luxury hotel neither are its facilities, it's good but not excellent, well under most 5 star hotels. i feel there was not enough staff to cover the big resort.

This hidden gem was absolutely mind-blowing! The cleanliness of the apartment and grounds was super impressive. The facilities were top-notch, especially the jaw-dropping outdoor pool and the amazing views. The breakfast included in our stay was a total winner with a wide variety of choices. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The family-oriented atmosphere made it the perfect place to enjoy a fantastic vacation. Highly recommend this place for an unforgettable experience!

The hotel was located near beautiful scenery and had a great pool area. The breakfast was satisfying and had a variety of foods.

While the hotel had its perks, the décor was outdated and not very comfortable. The rooms were not properly cleaned and were quite noisy.

Good view and helpful staff. Kids club and fresh breakfast with variety. Well-organized resort with many amenities, like pools and sports facilities.

We got great value for our money at Montebelo. The room was lovely and the lakeside location was stunning. The staff treated us like family, always friendly and helpful.

Our stay here was a luxurious experience. The exclusive amenities at this hotel fulfilled all our needs during our holiday. The service was exceptional, and the Spa & wellness centre offered a range of treatment options for relaxation. The indoor swimming pool and sauna were top-notch. The outdoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, beach access, and sun loungers provided a perfect setting for basking in the sun. The garden area and sun terrace added scenic beauty to our stay. The restaurant served an excellent continental breakfast and special diet menus. The room advantages were exclusive, and we enjoyed private facilities.

The only minor issue we had during our stay was the limited availability of snacks at the poolside snack bar. This hotel has an ideal location advantage and offers easy access to nearby attractions.

The villas at Montebelo Aguieira Lake Resort & Spa are absolutely stunning! The rooms are equipped with modern amenities like air conditioning, cable TV, and a kitchen with state-of-the-art equipment. I loved the private swimming pool in the four-room villa. It was the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. The apartment was cozy and had everything I needed. The kitchen, with its microwave and coffee making facilities, was great for preparing quick meals. The guestrooms were comfortable and well-equipped. The 24-hour room service and free WiFi were a bonus.

Personally, I found the refrigerator in the guestrooms a bit small. However, I can understand that others might find it sufficient for their needs.
